Day Centres - Health Farm - Computer Club

As part of SERVE's Senior Active project we are about to launch a brand new computer training facility. Operating from a self contained and newly acquired premises located in the heart of Rushden the centre will house 12 PC's plus a special Sightline computer for partially sighted clients. SERVE plan to provide formal IT training for the over 50's from this centre as well as an Internet Cafe and Drop In Centre.

As SERVE is a voluntary organisation we are seeking funding, particularly for the acquisition of the computers and also for the running costs. We have identified a clear need for this type of service in Rushden, a pilot scheme, run by ourselves over the past year, has benefited over 200 older people from the local community. If you are able to offer us some help in achieving our objectives please contact Barry Graves on 01933 315555.

Please check this page regularly for updates on the progress of the new centre.
